Many gardeners don’t give earthworms a second thought, seemingly insignificant. But the fact is, organic black worm castings offer significant benefits to any garden, farm, flower beds, and fruit trees.
Black worm castings improve soil drainage and aeration, while retaining moisture. Allowing nutrients to be readily available to plants, releasing them over an extended period so plant never get burned. They significantly increase the number of beneficial nematodes which aids in anti fungus control.
Black castings also releases an enzyme into the soil that acts as a natural pest control, repelling several insects that are harmful to plants such as, aphids, hornworms, white flies, spider mites, cucumber beetles, and even mealy bugs.

Organic worm castings are safe around children and pets, PH neutral, and odor free. A simple top dressing of castings can almost immediately help struggling plants.
“The castings can be added to regular compost – about 25 percent – and used to build up beds. Or spread them around plants and dig in slightly. Sprinkle castings on potted plants and over garden beds. A little goes a long way. Other uses include adding to the bottom of planting holes and mixing with potting soil at a concentration of about 20 percent.”
